Jaw bone tumors
Variety of tumors grow inthe jawbones. Most of these growths are noncancerous (benign), but they can be aggressive and expand, displace or destroy the surrounding bone, tissue and teeth.
Typically these tumors require surgical treatment. These can be very conservative or extensive interventions leading to jaw resection and reconstruction. Your lesion is assessed using various imaging modalities and biopsy if required. A treatment plan is made depending on the pathological diagnosis and the extent of the lesion.
